The rest of the league had time to spare on Caleb Murphy; the Steelers did not wait, grabbing him 41 spots ahead at pick 242. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with edge rusher and tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

That Oladapo pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.
