The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bills watched Trente Jones slide 53 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. With linebacker, edge rusher and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on OLB-EDGE is the choice that costs them.

The trade work was a quiet net positive. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
