Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB- TradesB- FutureB-
Wallace should have been long gone. The Packers pounced, and earned a B-.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Caedan Wallace got past him. The Packers do not have to explain a thing at No. 255. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They are betting Logue proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick25 Rnd1 Graham Barton
In the 25th overall pick they get a cornerstone up front at fair value.
Pick44 Rnd2 Edgerrin Cooper
They paid sticker price for Edgerrin Cooper in the Round 2 slot, and that is fine. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick58 Rnd2 Jaylen Wright
The board had cheaper options than Jaylen Wright at No. 58, and it noticed. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick88 Rnd3 Jaden Hicks
Jaden Hicks at pick No. 88 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick91 Rnd3 Cam Hart
Cam Hart at Round 3, Pick 28 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick112 Rnd4 Jarrian Jones
They talked themselves into Jarrian Jones at the 112th pick, and the board did not agree. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick126 Rnd4 Brennan Jackson
Brennan Jackson at pick 126 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick169 Rnd5 Tykee Smith
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Tykee Smith in slot 169. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
Pick202 Rnd6 Drake Nugent
A conviction pick on Drake Nugent at Round 6, Pick 27 that the board grades a round light. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick219 Rnd6 Edefuan Ulofoshio
Edefuan Ulofoshio in pick No. 219 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. Pure best-available; the position was not exactly begging.
Pick245 Rnd7 Zion Logue
Zion Logue at pick 245 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick255 Rnd7 Caedan Wallace
They barely believed it either: Caedan Wallace still on the board at the 255th pick. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
