Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Ravens were there to profit. Jacob Cowing, the No. 185 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick No. 250. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Reaching for Sanders left real value on the table behind him.

They chose more darts over a bigger single swing.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
