Somebody in slot 214 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bengals sat still while Tommy Eichenberg, the No. 146 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The cost of the Cohen reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
