If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Giants, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend.

They are betting Higgins proves the room right and everyone else wrong. That Fairchild pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In the end it comes back to Tyler Warren, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
