Start where it matters. The Broncos took J.J. McCarthy to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

The McCarthy pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
