The rest of the league had time to spare on C.J. Hanson; the Falcons did not wait, grabbing him 28 spots ahead at the 235th pick. No fireworks, but a solid B.

That Wilson pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They will answer for taking OLB-EDGE early while interior defensive lineman and tight end went begging.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
