Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B
ValueB NeedB TradesB+ FutureB-
The Packers let Williams fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

You build a draft on nights like this. Cameron Williams had no business being available in slot 97, and the Packers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. The bottom line is a respectable B.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Wohler has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.

Pick Analysis
Pick32 Rnd1 Kenneth Grant
A quiet steal in pick No. 32: Kenneth Grant for less than the market said. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick54 Rnd2 Jayden Higgins
They took Jayden Higgins at par in the 54th overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick62 Rnd2 Trey Amos
A tidy bit of business in pick 62, where Trey Amos graded well above the range. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick87 Rnd3 Isaiah Bond
Isaiah Bond in Round 3, Pick 23 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick97 Rnd3 Cameron Williams
Cameron Williams at the 97th pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. The roster fit checks out.
Pick134 Rnd4 Denzel Burke
The board fumbled Denzel Burke all the way to No. 134, and they scooped it up. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick159 Rnd5 Jack Kiser
Jack Kiser at slot 159 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick198 Rnd6 Jarquez Hunter
Jarquez Hunter slipping to the Round 6 slot is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick237 Rnd7 Hunter Wohler
They left a pile of value on the table to take Hunter Wohler this early at slot 237. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick250 Rnd7 Donovan Smith
Donovan Smith at pick No. 250 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
