A costly weekend of dealing drags the Steelers to a D.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Steelers spent pick 83 on Jacob Parrish, a name most had 37 spots down the list.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
