When a board-topper like Calen Bullock slides to pick No. 78, you do not overthink it, and the Seahawks did not. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Reaching for Rogers left real value on the table behind him.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. They chose more darts over a bigger single swing.
