The 49ers won the night they stopped Neal from sliding. Grade: B.

Somebody in slot 189 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The 49ers sat still while Devin Neal, the No. 84 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

Every board in the league had Parker lower, and that gap is the story. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
