The Raiders treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending pick 212 on Tommy Mellott a full 119 spots early.

That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Adding Bryce Young by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
