The 49ers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Ryan Fitzgerald, the No. 117 name on the board, in pick 249.

Reaching for Griffith left real value on the table behind him. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
