Whoever sat across the table from the Lions should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They will need Allen to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The Jacobs steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
