The Cowboys bet big and early on Desmond Watson, 45 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

The Howard steal is the beam this whole class leans on. For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
