Grand theft in the Round 6 slot: the Seahawks steal Taylor and grade out a B+.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Seahawks were there to profit. Mason Taylor, the No. 97 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 6, Pick 8. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

They will need Miller to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The trade work was a quiet net positive. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
