The Steelers bet big and early on Kingsley Suamataia, 30 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Steelers indulged a want in Van Pran while a need in quarterback, edge rusher and other spots stayed open. On value alone, Vaki makes the weekend a net positive.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
