The Lions let Hunt fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

Whoever sat across the table from the Lions should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On value alone, Hunt makes the weekend a net positive. The Lions paired the rookies with proven help, Za'Darius Smith leading the way.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
