Thrash should have been long gone. The Bears pounced, and earned a A-.

The real work happened on the phones. The Bears fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.

They banked enough surplus on Thrash to cover a lot of smaller sins. They are betting Wiley proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

In the end it comes back to Rome Odunze, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
