The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bears watched Justin Scott slide 36 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it. They will need Daley to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
