The Texans checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Texans started one anyway for Demani Richardson, 62 picks ahead of schedule.

However the rest shakes out, Simpson at that price is a win they earned. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
