The rest of the league had time to spare on Evan Tengesdahl; the Cowboys did not wait, grabbing him 64 spots ahead at the Round 7 slot. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it.

It is not that Moore is a bad player; it is that the Cowboys had louder needs to answer first. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
