The Dolphins left with their quarterback, and a D+ to match. The Dolphins looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Jaylen Reed at pick 155 regardless, 33 picks early.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. So much rides on Shedeur Sanders that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.
Getting Collins where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.
