The Seahawks landed square in the muddy middle: C.

The Luke Lachey pick is the one that will follow the Seahawks into the fall. They took him 140 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Call it a C and check back in two years.

Landing Nelson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
