The Commanders went off the board in a big way for John Emery Jr., 183 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Mondon Jr. pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
