The Seahawks did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Dwight McGlothern fell into the Round 7 slot. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They are betting Coleman proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
