Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B
ValueB+ NeedB TradesB- FutureC+
Washington should have been long gone. The Ravens pounced, and earned a B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Tahj Washington tumbling to the Ravens in the 218th pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They will need Davis to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Jared Verse
In pick 30 they get a bendy edge with upside at a price that makes it sweeter. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick62 Rnd2 T.J. Tampa
A tidy bit of business in Round 2, Pick 30, where T.J. Tampa graded well above the range. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick93 Rnd3 Ja'Lynn Polk
Ja'Lynn Polk in No. 93 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick105 Rnd4 Zak Zinter
Zak Zinter at the 105th overall pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick110 Rnd4 Tyler Davis
They jumped the gun on Tyler Davis, taking him earlier than his grade liked. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick165 Rnd5 Kalen King
They barely believed it either: Kalen King still on the board at the Round 5 slot. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick218 Rnd6 Tahj Washington
Tahj Washington at slot 218 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick228 Rnd7 Caedan Wallace
Value with a capital V on Caedan Wallace in the 228th pick, a genuine coup. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick250 Rnd7 Kimani Vidal
By-the-book stuff, Kimani Vidal at pick 250 squarely in line with his ranking. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
