Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Texans.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Texans did exactly that with Oronde Gadsden II in the Round 5 slot. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Marshall Jr..

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
