Somebody in the Round 4 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Texans sat still while Drew Allar, the No. 54 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

If Gadsden II pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.
