Singleton should have been long gone. The Texans pounced, and earned a B.

Somebody in No. 235 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Texans sat still while Nicholas Singleton, the No. 100 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

Pick19 Rnd1 Mason Graham

They read the board right and Mason Graham was the payoff at the Round 1 slot. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.

Quietly one of the better values of the day, Tyler Booker at pick 53. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
