The Texans' one glaring miss is running back, a need they left exactly as they found it.

The cost of the Taylor III reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
