You can usually follow a front office's logic. This one is harder. The Texans spent No. 86 on Mike Sainristil while running back, wide receiver and other spots sat unaddressed.

The DeJean value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The cost of the Ford reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
