The real work happened on the phones. The Vikings fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Coleman. Every board in the league had Barrett lower, and that gap is the story.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
