Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall D-
ValueB- NeedB+ TradesF FutureC+
Quarterback settled, Ward in the fold, and a D- for the Seahawks.

The war room fell hard for Nazir Stackhouse, and it showed at Round 4, Pick 35: 55 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The whole projection now runs through Cam Ward; hit there and everything else looks smarter.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. However the rest shakes out, Shough at that price is a win they earned.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.

Pick Analysis
Pick18 Rnd1 Cam Ward
In the Round 1 slot they get a passer to set the clock by, outstanding value to boot. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick25 Rnd1 Jonah Savaiinaea
Jonah Savaiinaea in the 25th pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick50 Rnd2 Marcus Mbow
By-the-book stuff, Marcus Mbow at No. 50 squarely in line with his ranking. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick58 Rnd2 Tre Harris
They let Tre Harris come to them and pounced at Round 2, Pick 26. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick82 Rnd3 Jake Majors
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Jake Majors. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick92 Rnd3 Cam Skattebo
They paid sticker price for Cam Skattebo in slot 92, and that is fine. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick137 Rnd4 Nazir Stackhouse
They left a pile of value on the table to take Nazir Stackhouse this early at pick No. 137. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick172 Rnd5 Tyler Shough
The board fumbled Tyler Shough all the way to the Round 5 slot, and they scooped it up. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick175 Rnd5 Jake Briningstool
Jake Briningstool is a better player than pick 175 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick185 Rnd6 Bhayshul Tuten
They will replay Bhayshul Tuten at Round 6, Pick 9 for years; that is how good the value is. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick234 Rnd7 Garrett Dellinger
Value said wait; Garrett Dellinger in the 234th pick says they were not listening. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
