A costly weekend of dealing drags the Saints to a D. The rest of the league had time to spare on Khordae Sydnor; the Saints did not wait, grabbing him 284 spots ahead at the 183rd pick. Put together, it is a D.
They banked enough surplus on Simon to cover a lot of smaller sins. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.
They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The Saints clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
