The Giants cashed the board's mistake on Sadiq: A.

The board owed the Giants one, and it paid up: Kenyon Sadiq, the No. 17 name on the board, sitting there at the 92nd pick like a gift left on the doorstep. Just about everything broke right, and the A follows.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Arvell Reese and all.
