When the story of this class is written, it opens with David Walker at pick No. 104, a reach of 67 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. They executed a plan and it shows in the A.

However the rest shakes out, Starks at that price is a win they earned. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Giants clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
