You could see the war room lean forward. Maxwell Hairston at the 243rd overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
