The Steelers ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They will need Belton to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

Getting Clark where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.
