They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. J.J. McCarthy is the Bears' quarterback, full stop. A mixed bag that lands at C+.

Worthy falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close.

The Bears clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
