For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Bengals walked out of the weekend still thin at tight end, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

They will need Wallace to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
