If confidence were a draft strategy, the Colts would have aced it. Evan Anderson at slot 222 is 61 spots clear of where he belonged. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
