Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Colts spent Round 4, Pick 17 on Christian Jones, a name the board had a full 80 spots lower. The bottom line is a respectable B.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Colts indulged a want in Solomon while a need in quarterback, edge rusher and other spots stayed open. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
