The Colts cashed the board's mistake on Franklin: B+.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Colts were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

The Franklin value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

They will need Bell to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
