When the story of this class is written, it opens with Jamaree Caldwell at No. 95, a reach of 34 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The Thomas pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback, running back and other spots. TeSlaa falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
