The Bears fleeced the room on the phones and earned a A.

Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A to show for it.

Every board in the league had Brooks lower, and that gap is the story. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Murphy II. The Moore pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at linebacker.

For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
