There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Seahawks started one anyway for Jamaree Caldwell, 96 picks ahead of schedule.

However the rest shakes out, Nelson at that price is a win they earned. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
