More right than wrong for the Steelers, and a B to prove it.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Steelers did exactly that with Will Sheppard in Round 7, Pick 29. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

However the rest shakes out, Ransom at that price is a win they earned. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Lathan Ransom at the Round 5 slot is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
