After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. It lands right in the middle: a C, no more, no less.

Puni at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The Wiley pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
